• Emperor Palpatine (Darth Sidious) was released as a Target exclusive in 2006 in the battle pack titled "Skirmish In the Senate"
• The set included a total of four figures - plus one Senate pod
• The other figures in this set were two Shock Troopers (Shock Trooper 1 - Shock Trooper 2) and Jedi Master Yoda
• Palpatine is a slight re-paint of the Palpatine figure released in 2005
