• BB-8 was released in April 2016 in a 4-pack titled "Takodana Encounter"
• The other figure's in this set were Maz Kanata - Finn and Rey
• BB-8 is a straight re-release of the 2nd version of the Mission Series BB-8 figure which was packed-in with two of Unkar's thugs
• The head can be turned 360 degrees
• The head is attached to the body via a plastic stick which allows BB-8's head to be moved into any direction (in addition to the possible 360 degree motion)There is no magnet inside the body and BB-8 can't be rolled around
• BB-8's antennas are not removable
• The figure has a hole in the bottom so that it can be placed onto a display stand (not included)
