• Protocol Droid CU-28 was released single carded at Disney Theme Parks and for a brief time through DisneyStore.com on February 6, 2026
• The figure sold out within a few hours on DisneyStore.com
• Greef Karga's CU-28 droid is featured in Disney's The Mandalorian TV series season 3
• For this droid Disney used the popular "build-a-droid" sculpt which means the droid can be taken apart into the head, two arms, body and two legs
• CU-28 is a repaint of the GS-1CB droid from 2025
• This droid was the second one released in the Droid Factory Fridays 2026 program which included a total of six droids
• There we no accessories included for the droid to interact with, but Disney did include a blue Protocol Droid head (the build-a-droid part) and a unique trading card for CU-28
• The figure was sculpted well, but the paint application need to be shinier (compare the figure to the image on the packaging)
