MORE INFORMATION

  • This Dengar figure was released single carded in Fall 2025
  • The figure is a repainted version of the original Dengar figure from 2010
  • This release faithfully captures Dengar’s appearance aboard Darth Vader’s Executor Star Destroyer as seen in The Empire Strikes Back
  • Besides less paint on this release on the figure and the included weapons, the cardback was changed to an alternate portrait of Dengar
  • Hasbro included a DL-44 blaster, a blaster rifle, a backpack and a removable cod piece with Dengar
  • Both weapons fit securely into the figure’s hands, while the backpack plugs firmly into a dedicated slot on the back
  • Additionally, the snap-on cod piece is removable, providing collectors with customization options
  • Dengar remains stable even when equipped with his backpack and wielding the blaster rifle
  • The sculpt is intricately detailed, showcasing Dengar’s unique features, including finely rendered chest panels, a well-sculpted head, and a highly detailed backpack that adds authenticity
  • The paint application on this re-release is noticeably lackluster when compared to the 2010 figure
  • The overall finish appears too clean, stripping away the battle-worn look that defined the original
  • Key painted details from the 2010 version, such as the wooden handle on the blaster rifle, are completely absent
  • Fifteen years later, this figure feels like a step backward in terms of paint precision and authenticity
  • For longtime collectors, the loss of these small but important details is a disappointing downgrade

PACKAGING TEXT

Crude and slovenly, Dengar was nonetheless an effective bounty hunter. While some hunters prided themselves on finesse and style, Dengar preferred firepower and destruction.
