MORE INFORMATION

  • This Clone Commander Cody Black Series figure was released single carded in April 2025 exclusively through Walmart
  • The figure came in Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith commemorative packaging which pays homage to the 3 3/4" toy line from 2005 when the movie was released
  • This is the third time that Hasbro has released Commander Cody in the Black Series line, the first release was in 2015 (Black Series Commander Cody), which then was re-released in Archive packaging in 2021 (Black Series Archive Commander Cody)
  • You can look at both sculpts, the 2015 figure (on the left) and the 2025 figure (on the right) side-by-side here: Black Series Commander Cody
  • For this 2025 Commander Cody figure Hasbro used the new Clone body which has updated articulation when compared to the 10 year older figure
  • Hasbro included a small Darth Sidious hologram which Commander Cody can hold well in his right hand
  • The blaster fits well into both of the figure's hands
  • Commander Cody's helmet is removable, and even though it fits easily over the head, Cody's chin shows a little underneath
  • Besides the helmet, there are no removable parts on Commander Cody
  • There is a hole on the belt where Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber hit can be plugged in, but Hasbro unfortunately didn't include the saber
  • Commander Cody's knee pads are loose and can be rotated around the knees
  • The shoulder bells are made out of very soft plastic and they will move out of the way when the arms are raised
  • The paint application gets the job done, there are some scuffs on chest and shoulder bells, but it's a very, very clean looking figure with no wash or "Utapau" dirt anywhere (look at the back of the figure, it's entirely clean)
  • Commander Cody stood well on display while taking pictures of him for the website entry here
  • Even though Hasbro did a great job with the packaging on this one, the figure itself could have been painted better (and how about including his Clone Wars DC-15A long rifle with this commemorative release, Hasbro?)
