This Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi figure was released single carded on May 23rd, 2021 exclusively at Target stores
The design of the packaging was originally used for Hasbro's 3 3/4" Clone Wars action figure line in 2008
This version of Obi-Wan Kenobi is a realistic interpretation of the cartoon character from the Clone Wars animated TV series
Obi-Wan Kenobi came with a lightsaber which fits loosely into both hands
The blue blade is removable from the hilt so that the figure can be displayed with an ignited or non-ignited lightsaber
The hilt has a peg so that it can be plugged into a small hole on the belt
There was no robe included with this figure and there are no removable parts on the outfit
Obi-Wan Kenobi's shoulder armor gets in the way when you want to raise the arms more than 90°
The color tone on the outfit and the sculpt looks good and is a nice representation of what Obi-Wan looked like in the cartoon
Obi-Wan's head sculpt with the photo real print on it looks great in person
There is no dirt or weathering to be found anywhere on this figure
Obi-Wan stands well on display without falling over
Even though this figure of Obi-Wan Kenobi turned out nicely Hasbro could have done more with it for fans (include more accessories like a Clone helmet, a robe, or spruce up the paint application)
