This morning, Hasbro held its much-anticipated May the 4th Star Wars Day livestream for 2026 on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel, and there were quite a few surprises for collectors.

Perhaps the biggest surprise was that Hasbro did not focus heavily on the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu movie, which is only a few weeks away from release. Instead, the team revealed figures from several different eras of the Star Wars universe.

Have a look below for a full breakdown of everything shown for Star Wars The Retro Collection, Star Wars The Vintage Collection, and Star Wars The Black Series.

THE RETRO COLLECTION

During today’s Hasbro livestream, the team shared an update about the previously announced Star Wars: A New Hope Retro Collection 6-pack. The set was originally revealed as a Target exclusive, but it will now be offered as a shared exclusive through Target and Fan Channel retailers, which means collectors should also be able to pick it up through our sponsor EntertainmentEarth.com.

Hasbro also confirmed a packaging update for the set. After seven years, the distressed cardback look used for Retro Collection figures is being retired. These figures will now come on clean, pristine, unpunched cards, giving the release a sharper and more classic presentation.

The A New Hope Retro Collection 6-pack will not be available for pre-order on May the 4th. Instead, pre-orders are scheduled to open on June 5, 2026. Stay tuned to GalacticFigures.com and check back for updates and ordering links.

THE VINTAGE COLLECTION

For the 3.75-inch Star Wars The Vintage Collection line, Hasbro revealed several new figures and sets during the May the 4th Star Wars Day 2026 livestream, including a new Geonosian Warrior 4-pack coming exclusively to Hasbro Pulse.

Vintage Collection Geonosians

The Star Wars The Vintage Collection Geonosian Warrior 4-pack includes multiple Geonosian warriors with different looks, including versions with wings and without wings, giving collectors more variety for their Geonosis arena and Clone Wars-era displays. This set should pair especially well with the upcoming Star Wars The Vintage Collection Republic Gunship, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Hasbro also revealed a new single-carded Plo Koon figure for Star Wars The Vintage Collection, along with Luuke Skywalker, the clone of Luke Skywalker from Timothy Zahn’s early 1990s Star Wars Thrawn Trilogy novels.

Another major reveal was Bodhi Rook from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This figure has been anticipated by collectors for almost 10 years, and Hasbro is finally bringing Bodhi Rook into Star Wars The Vintage Collection as a super-articulated 3.75-inch action figure.

Additional Star Wars The Vintage Collection reveals included Anakin Skywalker in his Sebastian Shaw Force ghost appearance from the end of Return of the Jedi, before the scene was later changed to feature Hayden Christensen, as well as a Phase I Clone Trooper Commander with yellow markings inspired by the clone trooper armor seen in Attack of the Clones.
