New Black Series Maul: Shadow Lord Reveals & Preorders!

Hasbro has unexpectedly revealed several new additions to the Star Wars Black Series lineup, centered around characters connected to Maul: Shadow Lord. The newly announced figures include Maul (Shadow Lord), Devon Izara, Rook Kast, and the Eleventh Brother. Pre-orders for all four figures are scheduled to go live tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on a variety of different retailers.

The centerpiece of the reveal is Maul: Shadow Lord, depicting the former Sith apprentice after the fall of the Sith hierarchy during the Clone Wars. No longer serving a master, Maul has reinvented himself as a powerful criminal overlord, rebuilding his influence across the galaxy’s underworld. Cloaked and calculating, the Shadow Lord version of Maul represents the period when he consolidated power through criminal syndicates such as Crimson Dawn, operating in the shadows beyond the reach of the Empire.

The reveal also introduces several characters connected to Maul’s expanding network of allies and adversaries. Devon Izara appears to be a Force-sensitive character associated with the post–Clone Wars era. Armed with a blue lightsaber, the character is portrayed as someone navigating a galaxy reshaped by conflict, caught between competing loyalties as the remnants of the Jedi, the rise of Imperial authority, and various underworld factions reshape the balance of power.

Rook Kast is a Mandalorian warrior who served as one of Maul’s loyal enforcers during the time when he controlled Mandalore and commanded the Mandalorian super commandos. The character previously appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where she operated as a trusted lieutenant within Maul’s forces. Wearing distinctive Mandalorian armor and equipped with a jetpack, Rook Kast played a role in enforcing Maul’s authority and maintaining control over his faction.

The Eleventh Brother is an Imperial Inquisitor, one of the Force-sensitive hunters tasked by the Empire with tracking down surviving Jedi following Order 66. The character appeared in the animated projects Tales of the Jedi. As part of the Inquisitorius, the Eleventh Brother wields a distinctive double-bladed spinning lightsaber and serves the Empire in its ongoing effort to eliminate remaining Jedi and Force-sensitive threats.

The new figures continue Hasbro’s expansion of story-driven characters within the Star Wars Black Series line, bringing key personalities from the Maul: Shadow Lord era into the 6-inch scale collector format. Pre-orders begin tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on several different online retailers.
