DROID FACTORY DROID R4-6D0 ANNOUNCED

This morning, DisneyStore.com unveiled the next release in its 2026 Disney Droid Factory lineup: the astromech R4-6D0. Featured in The Mandalorian and assigned to Greef Karga, this marks the fifth entry in the Droid Factory Build-A-Droid collection. Pre-orders for this Disney Droid Factory Droid will open on May 1 at 8:00 AM Pacific Time.

As part of the Disney Droid Factory program, each Droid Factory Droid includes an extra build component. Collectors who acquire all six droids in the series will be able to assemble a seventh bonus droid. Every Disney Droid Factory release also comes packaged with a collectible trading card, adding even more value for fans of Droid Factory figures. While five droids have now been revealed, the final Droid Factory Droid remains under wraps, with the next announcement expected for March 6.

The Disney Droid Factory Friday initiative has been very well received by collectors, especially those focused on 3¾-inch Star Wars figures. By spotlighting Droid Factory droids pulled directly from on-screen storytelling, many of which have never been produced before, Disney has brought meaningful variety to display shelves and expanded representation beyond the usual core characters. This approach has helped position the Disney Droid Factory as a standout program for collectors looking to add unique and never-before-made droids to their shelves.
