Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron By Jazwares

This morning Yahoo! Entertainment revealed a new line of Star Wars vehicles by Jazwares. This miniture line of vehicles will include spaceships in different price categories starting at $5.99 (Scout Mystery Packs which will include Speeder Bikes) going up to $44.99 (Millennium Falcon). Every ship will include at least one figure, but they appear to be very small model kit type figures and not articulated action figures. 

The line-up of vehicles right out of the gate looks impressive, especially because there are some gems included such as Moff Gideon's Tie Fighter with foldable wings, the Slave 1 with Book of Boba Fett inspired paint app or Asajj Ventress' Ginivex Starfighter. Unfortunately, such a cool offering reminds us that Hasbro has been neglecting spaceships in their 3 3/4" line ever since the Vintage Collection was relaunched in 2018 with only one vehicle a year being released (if we are lucky!). Let's hope that Hasbro finds inspiration in Jazwares' line-up of vehicles and that we'll see a new direction for Hasbro's 3 3/4" vehicle line with small, mid-size and large vehicle assortments again in the future.
