George Lucas founded Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC in San Francisco's Bay Area on December 10, 1971, which was exactly 50 years ago today. In those 50 years Lucasfilm has brought unmatched fun and entertainment into our lives across many different storytelling formats, including movies, comic books, video games and VR experiences, novels and more. Of course, for us Star Wars action figure fans, the storytelling continued and continues to this day with the toys and collectibles. Let's hope that the fun and inspiration will never end and that the stories will keep on coming. Thank you George Lucas and Lucasfilm, here is to another 50 years!
