The Razor Crest Campaign Was a HUGE Success For 3 3/4" Fans!

The Hasbro HasLab Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Razor Crest campaign was a HUGE success! To date it's the most successful project ever in the HasLab history, even beating the popular Marvel brand and the Hasbro Marvel Sentinel which cost the same amount as the Razor Crest. The previous record set by the Sentinel was 21,913 backers and currently the Razor Crest has reached over 24k already and is well on the way to reach 25k+ backers (you have until November 9th, 2020 11:59PM EST to back it).

The Marvel Universe has enjoyed one hit movie after another and is massively popular, and with the X-Men Sentinel dating back to the 1960's, and an installed fan base, this was not an easy record to break. Star Wars fans were left mostly underwhelmed or with split opinions about Disney-era Star Wars movies, and with so few new single carded figures from Hasbro in the 3 3/4" line per year, it was difficult to predict how strong the support for the Crest would be. And as it turns out, the Mandalorian has been able to re-unite fans and the Star Wars action figure community for 3 3/4" figures came out swinging and showed full support for the Crest even shattering the 6" Marvel HasLab project's record!

So thank you Hasbro for giving the Razor Crest a shot and for giving 3 3/4" fans another centerpiece for the collection next Fall in 2021! And Congratulations to fellow 3 3/4" collectors, who sent a clear message to Hasbro, which is that we LOVE the 3 3/4" scale! 

The success of this campaign supports and adds credibility to the questions we've received from the GalacticFigures.com community (and asked Hasbro continuously over the years) about getting MORE NEW figures per year in 3 3/4". It also supports the various online petitions which have popped up earlier this year as well. There is a ton of love for 3 3/4" Star Wars figures and fans are starved for MORE NEW characters. Hopefully this massively successful campaign will raise some eye brows and get the attention of upper management at Hasbro, and maybe the 3 3/4" Vintage Collection will be course-corrected and will see more slots for new characters per a year moving forward. Fingers crossed!
